The Missouri Trappers Association had a very successful fur auction last Saturday in Montgomery City. The fur auction chairman, Justin Elliott and all of his crew deserve a big "thank you" for an outstanding job pulling off the event. There was a total of 50 lots of fur sold and a total of 17 buyers from 5 states present. Fair prices were given, especially considering the market and the bad weather that came down over the state. Also, a special "thank you" goes out to all of the MTA members that sold their fur as well as all of the buyers that drove a lot of miles to be there.
