The 4th Annual Fundraising Banquet was held on April 1st, hosted by District 3 at the Bear River Ranch in Rolla, Missouri. District Director, Carl Cook, and members of District 3 made the event a very successful one. There were literally hundreds of prizes and the food was outstanding. There were tons of guns, an ATV, bows, traps, generator, tree stands, rifle scopes, wildlife prints, gun safes and cabinets, knives, and much, much more. Guest speakers, Miss Missouri, 2016, Erin O'Flaherty and two time Grand National Champion Turkey Gobbling and World Quail Calling Champion, Ralph Duren got the audience attention.
Among the visitors present, Miss Rodeo Missouri, McKenna Wilmes and her mother, Kelly made their welcome appearance as well as all the ladies of the Miss Missouri Outdoors. A big thank you to Kevin Whitworth for doing the honors with the long night of auctioneering. It was definitely a night of fun, food, and fellowship. I for one will be looking forward to next year.
